Otunba Bamidele Akingboye (OBA) has assured that he possesses the expertise, experience, and technical know-how to revive all the moribund industries in Ondo State, including the Ifon Ceramics industry and ensure adequate security architecture is put in place to protect the people.
OBA visited Ifon today as part of his ongoing Local Government Area (LGA) Tour to enlist the support of party leaders and stakeholders ahead of the primaries.
He stated, “Apart from rehabilitating dilapidated roads and building new ones, I will prioritize revamping all industries. The Ifon Ceramics industry is crucial for the economic viability of our state. These industries will create jobs, provide goods and services, and make Ifon a commercial center that will attract global attention.”
“Those rocks you see are useful for manufacturing cement, and I can assure you that now is the time to tap into these resources, and Ifon must rise again.”
Among those present at the meeting were Mrs. Prof. Ilepe Johnson, Adeniki Edekin, Mrs. Adeduro Deji, and other dignitaries.
The Ifon Constituency PDP House of Assembly Candidate, Hon. Olumide Saporu, commended OBA for his consistency and support for the PDP. He noted that OBA’s manifestos and presentations are practical and acceptable to the Ose people. He advised OBA to bring all other aspirants together, build synergy and unity to avoid crisis after the primaries.
Hon. Aliu Suleman reaffirmed his unwavering support for OBA, having worked with him for the past four years. He announced that he has been holding meetings about OBA behind the scenes. He asserted his support for him before now; believes that what PDP has lost since 2009 will be restored through OBA, citing the numerous projects OBA has embarked on including providing people with jobs and scholarships. He stated that OBA is ready to work for the masses because he is a loyal party member and highly connected.
Hon. Adeyeye said OBA is not new to them; he is qualified in all aspects, trustworthy, and not selfish. He added that OBA will not only win the primaries but also the general elections.
OBA expressed happiness for their full support and promised to deliver. He said they should witness how God will work through him. He promised to bring the PDP together as one, and everything would become normal again.
Mrs. Adeduro Deji said OBA’s time has come and prayed for his victory in the elections. She also implored him not to forget women when he wins.
