Otunba Bamidele Akingboye’s (OBA) campaign train landed in Akoko South East LGA, where he expressed dismay over the state’s unutilised resources such as stones that can be used for cement and tourism.
Declaring his entrepreneurial expertise after 41 years in business, OBA said he’s optimistic about fulfilling God’s plans to transform Ondo through his leadership.
His key promises included curbing open grazing by establishing ranches, empowering and securing farmers and tackling insecurity.
Party leaders assured OBA of his governorship prospects, while urging him not to neglect Akoko South East. In attendance were Hon. Ojo Victor (MHA 2023 Candidate), Hon. John Atere (former PDP Local Government Chairman), Hon. Ibukun Coker (Akoko South East), Hon. Iselowo (Local Government Secretary), Hon. Daudu Babatunda (Local Government Youth Leader), Simbiat Babalola and other leaders and delegates.
OBA acknowledged the love of those who had only heard of him. He solicited for their support and promoted his business acumen to handle state affairs and provide security.
Hon. Alana urged the delegates to vote for OBA and reminded him to keep Akoko South East in mind.
