Hon. Segun Akinsuroju Lauds Appointment of Hon. Bidemi Obayangban As Special Adviser on Afforestation in Ondo State

Hon. Oluwasegun Akinsuroju popularly known as Sir Puyol has warmly welcomed the appointment of Hon. Bidemi Joshua Obayangban as the new Special Adviser on Afforestation South by Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

In a statement released yesterday 6th September, 2024, Akinsuroju praised the decision as a strategic move that will significantly benefit the state’s environmental conservation efforts.

“I wholeheartedly congratulate Hon. Bidemi Joshua Obayangban on his well-deserved appointment,” stated Hon. Akinsuroju. “This appointment is in perfect alignment with our state’s vision for sustainable development and environmental stewardship.”

Sir Puyol, a respected voice in Ondo State politics, emphasized Obayangban’s qualifications for the role. “Hon. Obayangban’s track record of loyalty, consistency, humanitarian gestures, and moral dexterity for development makes him an excellent choice for this crucial position,” he noted.

The newly appointed Special Adviser, who is also the CEO of Obayangban Oil and Gas Limited, brings a wealth of private sector experience to his governmental role. Akinsuroju believes this background will be invaluable in developing innovative approaches to afforestation in the southern region of Ondo State.
